I recently stayed in Neuro ICU as a patient of Dr. S following a Craniotomy. While in the ICU, I had RN Kate assigned to my care. The amount of professionalism, compassion, and caring she gave to me was amazing. This was my first surgery ever and I had a lot of anxiety, insecurity, and questions. Kate made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed and made me feel at ease. She addressed my pain levels and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I can definitely tell her heart is fully invested in the nursing field and does it purely to care for those in need and not for personal gain. After an ER overnight stay where my experience was horrific, Kate’s actions have completely shined a new light and changed my entire outlook towards St. Joseph’s.
