She felt heard and enjoyed the fact that Brian not only took care of her medications but also her need to be heard and assured.
My mother was admitted to the hospital and after four rough days in the CDU, she had high blood pressure and several other metabolic conditions that caused mental confusion. She was scared, disoriented, and not comfortable. Brian was her nurse for two days and made a huge difference in her care. He listened to her concerns and was extremely attentive. When she had to go for MRI again that she could not finish previously due to anxiety, Brian talked to her through some relaxation techniques. After talking to my mom then she finally completed her MRI. My mom was feeling agitated and talked like a crazy old lady due to her altered mental status but Brian comforted her and assured her that she wasn’t crazy. She felt heard and enjoyed the fact that he not only took care of her medications but also her need to be heard and assured. He tracked down doctors and went above and beyond in her care. All her nurses during her hospital stay were incredible but Brian stood out the most during her stay. Thank you, Brian!
