Kaitlyn was amazing! She helped my fearful 7-year-old daughter who was being seen for throat hemorrhaging by getting a butterfly needle, as my daughter needed. She made my daughter a princess sleeping mask for comfort since we did not bring my daughter's. She held her when she was scared, stayed all night with us, and even helped me with all of the anxiety of the hospital stay and struggles my daughter was going through! I was able to go to the bathroom and vending machines while she sat with my daughter. Kaitlyn gave us anything we needed and was very sweet and gentle about all of the fears of my daughter.

By the end of the night, Kaitlyn got me a bed to sleep next to my daughter as well. When my daughter woke up both at 2:30 am and 5:30 am, Kaitlyn was there with us, walking the floor, getting anything we needed, and allowing me time to pull myself together from all of the anxiety. My daughter absolutely loved her! She made this scary situation the best hospital stay it could have been. We are so thankful for Kaitlyn. She was our “hero” in this situation!
