Dina was there during 3 of 6 nights at the NICU. Each time she would help us as new parents navigate the baby's needs, whether is was tips on eating, sleeping, and changing the diapers - she made herself available and was patient and kind in her demeanor. She was friendly, and approachable and told us that there is no such thing as a stupid question. We probably created more work for her, but she handled it like a pro and without breaking a sweat. During our days at the NICU, we found out our baby had a small stroke and that he needed to transfer ASAP. We were devastated for days on end and crying uncontrollably. Dina consoled us, especially me as a mother, and had us express all our concerns to the doctor. Walked through it with us and most of all did everything she could to make us smile. We couldn't laugh for a whole 2 days and when Dina came in for her shift she managed to get us to laugh and smile. We appreciate this so much and that's why we think she is a DAISY Nurse. She made the best for us out of a terrible situation. Thank you, Dina!
