I always felt safe when Diana was on shift and my nurse.
Diana was so personal and caring. She not only helped me through a very difficult journey but she was also there for me to help me cope with the death of my sister who died of COVID while I was in the hospital. She always took her time and checked in on my well-being. I always felt safe when she was on shift and my nurse.
***
I was in an auto accident and came in through ER. She was the first main nurse I had after ER room. She was at my side when I needed her. She was gentle and reassuring. She made me feel comfortable using the new urine extractor. When they had to get out the ER IV out of my left arm, she put one in the right forearm with not even a prick. She comforted me when I was hurting and when no family could be there. I felt totally secure in her care. I was grateful when I know she was on duty. I also woke up feeling normal and when I realized I was not I had a bit of a panic attack. Diana helped me through this.
