For first-time moms, labor is usually expected to last for hours. That was not the case for me, as my labor progressed very quickly, and I delivered within 10 minutes of arriving at the hospital. From the moment I was wheeled onto the Birthing Center unit, knowing the birth of my newborn was imminent, Brianna was there at the bedside, talking to me the whole time, guiding us through the process, holding my hand when needed, helping ease us. Even when our baby had to go to the newborn nursery for some low oxygen saturation issues, she was calm, caring, and explained everything thoroughly to my husband and me. Being a nurse myself, she is exactly the type of nurse that you would want standing by your side. We couldn't have had a better experience at the Birthing Center due to Brianna's caring ways.
