Mateyo, you have always exemplified what it means to be a nurse from the first day I met you as a CNA, and you found me shoes when others wouldn’t even look. To the day you changed my IV when no one else noticed. You watched over me like any nurse should. You looked over me at my lowest point. I came in so broken and you checked on me throughout the nights, I knew I was getting the best care. You helped me have happy memories on very stressful days.
