She is also able to communicate with the medical team about patients’ needs. Yu-Zin often felt that the patients were usually anxious lying on the operating table in the low-temperature operating room.

She found that the use of skin disinfectant caused patients' skin to become cold, making them uncomfortable before the operation. Therefore, nurse Yu-Zin took the initiative to research to find a solution. The nursing literature she read confirmed that preheated skin disinfectants can reduce the incidence of postoperative wound infection. The low-cost and easy-to-operate technology did not increase the workload of nursing staff. At the same time, preheated skin disinfectants increased the comfort of patients during preoperative preparation and reduced the patients' anxiety before surgery.

Nurse Yu-Zin is also a preceptor. She contributes to the training of new nurses, helps to improve the quality of care, and creates a quality care environment. She is a model of care for the unit.
