Linda always displays the utmost professionalism even in critical situations.
This Nurse Leader impacts staff and/or the patient care they manage by role modeling extraordinary behavior, Creating an environment where attributes of trust, compassion, mutual respect, continued professional development, and ethical behavior are modeled and supported, Motivating staff with a shared vision and enthusiasm to achieve better outcomes for themselves and for their patients, Promoting and enhancing the image of nursing within the organization, the community and the profession.
Linda always helps staff when they need it. Goes out of her way to check on ICU when PCU is doing ok. She creates a caring environment, encouraging nurses to do their best work and helps when they need encouragement. Linda always talks with patients during rapid responses. Helps nurses determine when their patients may need further attention or a doc called. When called to Codes/Rapids, she always knows exactly what is to come next and is prepared for things before asked. Linda will always check on me if she has free time. She runs the Crash Cart like nobody’s business. She can anticipate and has meds ready before even asked. She comes to help me when the Unit feels like it’s crumbling down around me. Helps put orders in, helps nurses settle patients, and does minute details such as fax paperwork if I’m too busy.
Linda always displays the utmost professionalism even in critical situations. Linda is definitely a nurse I continue to look up to, especially in the Nurse Leader role!
