My dad was admitted to SICU after a procedure. I stayed the night with him and Jordan was his nurse. Jordan was super attentive. She listened to the concerns I had about my dad’s pain. She also listened to his previous health history to discover he had low potassium and low magnesium that night which was beneficial in helping his leg cramps. My dad was experiencing decreased mental status and was unable to verbalize the pain he had at times but Jordan’s excellent listening and problem-solving skills helped bring comfort to my dad. She also changed him and his bed numerous times throughout her 12-hour shift. At no time did she seem irritated or tired. She had an amazing bedside manner and was so caring and I cannot brag enough about the exceptional care she gave. Her amazing attitude and excellent nursing skills helped my dad’s condition drastically improve. Thank you, Jordan from the bottom of our hearts!
