Staci has served on the Hospital Incident Management Team for over a year. She has been critical to its operation and the communication of HIMT decisions. Long hours have been spent making sure the multitude of policies and policy changes were communicated clearly to all staff. Her well-researched counsel to the HIMT allowed us to keep up with the ever-changing medical information during the pandemic. She also interfaced regularly with public health officials and staff to coordinate efforts between the HIMT and the EOC. As a non-clinician, I was able to understand critical issues about the pandemic due to her ability to translate mountains of clinical data into actionable information. I feel extraordinarily fortunate to have had Staci serving as our Infection Preventionist during the pandemic.
