Devotion to duty: Donna has been a charge nurse for over 33 years on 5200. She has mentored and educated over 3 decades of health care professionals. Many of her pupils have become nurses, LPNs, Pas, NPs, and MDs. She had a hand in each of their compassionate spirit, motivation, and contributions to Rochester General Hospital and the community.

Trusted Leader: Donna for 33 years has been the consistent face of leadership on 5100 and 5200. She is the go-to leader and educator for new PCTs, new charge nurses, nursing students, and Explorer RNs. She ensures staffing is safe each day. Patients receive the highest quality and safe care because of Donna’s proactive approach to unit staffing and expertise.

Exceptional Reliability: Donna’s previous performance appraisals have been “exceeds expectations.” This is contributed to her work ethic, reliability, her knowledge, and leadership. She has never had an unexcused absence, always comes to work when scheduled, does not hesitate to pick up overtime for staffing needs and patient safety, and is a reliable nurse during an unpredicted time.
