Years ago I heard about Liz Radford but I did not work with her. I was astounded at how many comments I heard about how amazing she was to work with and the glowing remarks people made. Since then I have had the pleasure of working side by side with Liz. I am impressed by her hard work, extensive knowledge, and her eagerness to learn and teach others. If something comes up that she is not familiar with she quickly and efficiently schools herself. Others are frequently referred to Liz when they need information, training and skill development. She is always willing to lend a hand. I have never seen her fail to jump in and assist others. Liz works tirelessly with a smile and treats others with kindness and respect. She takes on new responsibilities and is accountable for making sure what needs to happen does happen. I would challenge you to find a person in our organization who has had an interaction with Liz and not walked away astonished at her skill, approachability, team mindset, and dedication. Elizabeth Radford truly deserves to be celebrated as a DAISY Nurse because she is continuously working to improve the care all of our nurses provide to our patients.
