Pete consistently took the time to care for and comfort both my father and us.
I would like to thank Pete for his outstanding care. I believe that he made my father’s stay better. Pete demonstrated that he is truly gifted through his sincere concern for my father and his family. He is an excellent listener and incredibly responsive to patient needs.

When my father was difficult to deal with, Pete remained professional and calm. My father was very sick, often agitated and delusional, due to his severe infection. In addition, my father has a condition known as essential tremors. This makes it difficult to obtain an accurate blood pressure reading. These tremors became worse during his hospitalization.

My father was also experiencing nicotine withdrawals making him anxious and irritable. Pete listened. I explained to him how to best deal with tremors in order to obtain more accurate blood pressure readings in his arms Pete consistently took the time to care for and comfort both my father and us. My father was embarrassed, having to use the bathroom in bed. Pete promptly cleaned him up and reassured him.

Pete is a clear and effective communicator, always explaining the what and why. He always asked us if we needed anything. We shared with Pete that my father lost his wife, who was also my mother, in June, and that she passed away here in the Medical Respiratory ICU. Our loss was still quite raw and anxiety levels were quite high. Pete expressed his sympathy for our loss and made us all as comfortable as possible given the situation.

In closing, I believe Pete is a role model. I base this recommendation after my father spent 7 days at the hospital and in many different units.
