I came into the ICU utterly terrified and was blessed to have Iva as my first encounter in the hospital. She immediately calmed me down and helped me get into the right headspace. She broke down some of the big concerns that I was having so that I was able to process them into smaller steps. She gave me the best care with quality and comfort while also calming me down. I have had a lot of nurses before, but I will say Iva has been the best. I’m so thankful to have had her for 2 nights. On another note, I shared a personal story about my family’s dedication to getting a Saint's relic to me. Later in the evening, Iva returned with some reading materials about St Francis Cabrini. That’s just an example of the kind of nurse Iva is.
