I would like to nominate Charles Anderson, not only for the exceptional care he provides to all of his patients, but also for the exceptional teamwork he provides. Charles provides care to patients in a facility. All of the residents there know him (whether they are on service or not) because of Charles's kind nature. Charles has many patients who request to ONLY have Charles assigned to their care. Even referring doctors will agree to wait until Charles has availability. He has a phenomenal relationship with all of the physicians he deals with, which leads to excellent care and communication between the MD and our homecare. Charles is a huge reason why we have so many patients in Oxford!!

Teamwork is key in any position and Charles never fails to step up. Charles has precepted new nurses, taken students out, and volunteers for multiple committees. He does all of these things while seeing 7-9 patients a day. Charles is recognized by many as being an asset to the company. The education team has shared continued appreciation for what a godsend Charles is in the support that he provides to students. They have reported that they get so much information while going out with him.

Although Charles is primarily a facility nurse, he always responds to requests for assistance in the community with a "smile in his voice". Charles's compassion, excellence, and CONSISTENT care is so appreciated by myself, his co-workers, and most importantly, his patients.
