Juliana went out of her way to explain each and every procedure, medication, and thing done to our baby.
Juliana was nominated by both a colleague and a family for her work as a nurse in the PICU. One nomination read:
"Juliana went above and beyond to be present for a family in the PICU as they said goodbye to their baby. She stayed late, advocated for them, and provided them with a peaceful ending and goodbye. They trusted her and appreciated her unending care."
That display of empathy is something that Juliana relays in her work daily and her colleagues are not the only ones that notice.

She made down to earth conversation with us that really took our minds off of all the crazy going on. I will always include her in our little girl’s recovery story. What. A. Nurse! CG is lucky to have her.
