Geraldine has always taken excellent care and true empathy for me and my wife. When my wife started her cancer journey in 2000, she was one of Geraldine’s first patients at St. Francis. Throughout my wife’s 8-year-plus journey, Geraldine was frequently her nurse and took great care of her. My wife loved Geraldine who always strived to make a bad situation better for my wife. Geraldine clearly explained events, procedures, etc. so that my wife and I better understood what and why things were happening. Geraldine was always cheerful and smiling especially when we desperately needed it. Geraldine was my nurse in ASU when I had my surgery in 2022 and made me feel safe.
