Dr. Nordike goes above and beyond for her students and colleagues in all aspects of education. She consistently reinvents her own practices, takes feedback, and utilizes her own experiences for the betterment of the student experience. She holds different lecture options for students with different learning styles, yet still holds the students accountable by providing the tools for their success. Class is always upbeat, and she overall makes coming to class fun. Dr. Nordike is constantly willing to meet with students one on one for reassurance, remediation, or study tips. She not only creates a positive learning environment but ensures that everyone is heard and validated. Dr. Nordike is a constant reminder of why I am choosing to go into nursing- to earn my degree and make a difference in the world. Dr. Nordike always provides students with helpful resources for her courses and goes above and beyond to make time for students and help them understand concepts they struggle with. In addition, she is highly organized and ensures that the student is always a priority, preparing them as much as possible for upcoming concepts on exams and even future courses.
