I was hospitalized due to severe pain in my abdomen and Bethany was my nurse. I received a phone call from my boys and I became very emotional. I have been through so much in the last year being sick with hyperemesis my entire pregnancy. I lost my father when I was 8 months pregnant last year and things were very hard on me after losing him. Due to me being in and out of the hospital, Bethany had seen me before visiting NRMC. I got very upset due to post-partum depression and I began crying. Bethany instantly started telling me everything was going to be OK. She gave me so much encouragement, she helped me get dressed and helped me walk around on the 2nd floor to comfort me after I stated that I felt like my room was closing in on me. She came to find me and made sure I was OK before her shift ended. Bethany is a God-sent gift, because I was so upset and emotional, and her words of encouragement were just what I needed. I thank her so much.
