I would like to nominate Felix Rivera, RNFA from SPUH OR for recognition of his years of expert service. He has been indispensable as an assistant on robotic surgery. Due to his efforts, robotic surgery at SPUH has produced many satisfied patients and surgeons. Mr. Rivera has shown initiative and dedication well above the usual expectation for his position. He truly owns his expertise in the field of assistant in robotic surgery. This translates into much smoother surgeries and better patient outcomes. Most patients never get to meet Mr. Rivera, but he has made a difference in their surgeries. Mr. Rivera is always available to stay overtime, teach and instruct the other OR staff. He treats every case as importantly as any other case. He is consistently focused on the case and the safety of the patient. I have done hundreds of cases with Mr. Rivera over several years and feel qualified and happy to make this important nomination.
