Erin was such a great nurse to deal with following our mother's heart attack. Both myself, and my sister, live out of state when our mother was transferred to your center following her heart attack. Being out of state, as you can imagine, is frustrating as we cannot get to her bedside quickly. I wanted to drive up from Denver, but a snowstorm came in that closed I-70, I had to wait until the next day. All-day my sister and I called and spoke to Erin for information. Our mother would tell us something which one of us, in turn, would call and speak to Erin to find out for sure if it was true or not, half the time we think our mother was dreaming about conversations she had with people after coming out of anesthesia, Erin always explained everything that was going on. She was always so patient with us both. We tried to trade-off and space out our calls as we didn't want to overwhelm Erin as we know she was caring for other patients; however, I'm sure our calls got annoying for her, although we wouldn't know from talking to her. We cannot thank Erin enough for her kindness and understanding and the care she provided our mother when we couldn't get there. Also, we cannot tell you how much we appreciate the PIN number given to us so we could call knowing that not just anyone could call to find out about her care.
