Angela advocated for my uncle and stayed with him until his dialysis and blood work were complete.
My uncle had gone into septic shock and Angela came up to his ICU room to start him on Dialysis. She was compassionate and took the time to explain the process and symptoms to watch for. A few days later she came up to my uncle’s room in PCU to take him down to dialysis. She recognized me from the weekend before and provided me with additional information about his care. I appreciate the time she took to keep me informed, especially when his status changed while in dialysis.

My uncle stated he was short of breath and needed his inhaler. Angela reviewed his chart and noticed there was no inhaler on his medication list. She reached out to the doctor for the appropriate treatment and called respiratory to provide a breathing treatment. This helped my uncle immensely. After dialysis, they were considering a room transfer; Angela advocated for my uncle and stayed with him until his dialysis and blood work were complete. She even took the time to take him to CT then back to his room when transport was short staffed. Our family can’t thank her enough for going above and beyond for our loved one to ensure his best interests. Thank you!
