We live in Madison, Alabama. My daughter is no stranger to Children's Hospital. We spent almost 11 months here in 2018-2019. However, we received the devasting news that my daughter had relapsed. Adele was our nurse in some of the stressful days to follow. Adele always went above and beyond to be on top of all aspects of my child's care. Anything I mentioned was handled within minutes. She made sure that we were able to fully focus on my child and keeping her happy while she handled everything else. She sat with us as we cried, listened as we vented, and did her best to make us all smile. She was successful at removing a lot of stress and helping us through some of the toughest days. I want the administration at Children's Hospital to know how appreciative I am of her and the amazing care she provided not just to my child but to our whole family. In a time when covid can make you feel so isolated and alone it gave us peace to know Adele was with us every step of the way. She was a blessing to our family and is a true asset to Children's of Alabama.
