Mr. B called to say “Thank you” to Jasmine for “saving his life.” He stated that Jasmine, who took the call, insisted on talking to him after his wife stated that he was asleep. Mr. B had been easily fatigued and had an onslaught of pneumonia as his wife’s caretaker, who was also ill. Jasmine insisted that she talk to him after hearing about his health condition. When Mr. B’s wife came back to his room to wake him, Mr.B was unconscious. Jasmine immediately insisted that his wife call 911 after being instructed to shake him vigorously. When Mr. B woke up, he did not want to go to the ED, even though he could hear the sirens of the ambulance. She insisted that he go to the hospital via ambulance. Mr. B states that Jasmine saved his life and she stayed on the phone through this episode. He states that he feels so thankful and he wants to send a card to her. Mr. B gave me his email address so that somebody could reach out to him about this, as he would like to impart his gratitude for Jasmine’s actions.
