My fiancé was moving my items to a new floor, and Stephanie had just read my chart and records as I was being transferred. We were just told I needed surgery, and we were overwhelmed. Stephanie opened her arms and heart, hugged my fiancé who was in tears, and reassured us she and others on the floor would take great care of us. And that is just what she did. She cried and comforted us, and she never once let me get uncomfortable. She treated us like family, and she cared! 

On days she was not our nurse, she would check on us. Stephanie went above and beyond caring for us during this difficult time.  We feel she was one of God's angels whom he sent to comfort and support us.  Stephanie is an amazing nurse, and we feel she needs to be recognized for her nursing skills and her loving, caring heart. This is what matters when you are sick and you get top-notch care.  Thank you, Stephanie!  What an angel you are, and we will never forget you.
