Bekah is the Best! She would always make me laugh and keep me positive, especially after a lengthy stay. I feel like she was truly on my side through all of it and she always had or came back with an answer. She really made an effort to fight for me. I really appreciate her.

Rebekah looks at the patient – not the machines first. She “shows” concern and care in her eyes and face. When T came back from a procedure without a report, she made it a priority to address this because T needed medication for pain, and she needed to know if he could have some pain meds. I am a 70-year-old woman who loves my husband. We spent our 43rd wedding anniversary under Rebekah’s excellent care. She called me his cheerleader when she got the report. He entered Barnes-Jewish Hospital and except for a stay in another rehab hospital, I have been by his side from 9 am to 8 pm. His care has been excellent.

Nurses and staff are under lots of pressure yet so many have contributed to T’s recovery. Rebekah is the STAR in my mind of all the nurses. He was there many days!
