My fiancé and I were admitted to labor and delivery to give birth to our baby girl. She was 36 weeks and we found out she was stillborn. It was extremely hard hearing our baby had no heartbeat and even harder for us knowing we had to give birth to our daughter who passed. Lucia was our night nurse and she was amazing and went above and beyond her duties to make us feel as comfortable as we could through this traumatic time. She talked with us and was so nice and welcoming. She went out of her way to get us everything possible so we could remember our baby girl. From getting us her dress, flowers, hearts made out of fabric, and poems for our daughters at home who lost their sister. She cried with us, comforting us and was just amazing - everything about her. We could tell she really cared about her job and helping others. There was not a time in her care that we did not feel left behind. Lucia we want to thank you for being with us through this difficult time. You will forever be in our heart and we will always remember what a wonderful lady you are.
