By far, the past two years have been unprecedented in healthcare. Everyone has been impacted either directly or indirectly by the sars-cov-2 (Covid19) pandemic. As a traveler nurse (Interim Employee) I have had the privilege to work in the epicenter (NYC) during the peak of Covid19. My experiences since have gone full circle to later working to establish and manage a community Covid19 vaccine clinic located in Bakersfield, California. I refer to these experiences to provide a better understanding of how I arrived at Sutter Health's Quality Department working alongside the fabulous Michele.

Not only does Michele have vast knowledge in Infection Prevention but she is the "subject matter expert". She is admirable for her tenacity and desire to learn but moreover for her passion to be a nurse change agent and for her ability to teach and share information. Michele's attitude is that of professionalism, but she also has this uncanny ability to balance that along with a smile that expresses warmth, kindness, and care for everyone that meets her. Michele always takes time to assist her Sutter Health co-workers, the staff, and patients. I hold Michele in the highest regard as a nurse colleague and am privileged to call her my friend.
