Over the course of our continuing treatment at AMC, almost 2 months now. We have seen several amazing nurses. Bree Ford has not had an amazing moment where she helped in an emergency or a one-time amazing occurrence. Bree has been consistently my daughter’s favorite nurse. The nurse she is relieved to see when she is at her worst, and happy to see when she is at her best. Bree has made S’s visits to AMC as enjoyable as they can be. She immediately connected with S, learning every single one of her stuffy friends’ names! There were many. more than ten and honestly, as a mom, I do not know them all.

She learned, about S’s life at home, her animals, and sports. We have had Bree the most out of all the nurses. We love her impeccable handwriting, her art skills on the whiteboard and cards, and her crazy dancing! For a nurse to be consistently outstanding repeatedly, be a light in a dark space., and an overall compassionate person over an extended period, we nominated Bree Ford for the DAISY Award. We love her so much and look forward to seeing her always thought out this difficult Journey. Thank you.
