Angela went above and beyond to assist a patient who could not find what she needed. There was a patient who had multiple medical issues which limited her mobility and cognitive function. She was lost in the parking lot looking confused. Although she was scheduled to leave for her own personal vacation, Angela felt that it was important to take the time to help this woman with what she needed. She was able to help the patient to get what she needed, while providing her with positivity and supporting words. She returned to her office, provided the patient with a safe place to sit, and called the pharmacy to assure that the patient got what she needed before she left. She even picked the medication up from the pharmacy and brought it to the patient since her mobility was limited. This a truly exemplary example of what it means to care for others, and exemplifies the Woman's Hospital value of excellence! I am truly proud to work with someone so caring.
