Jessica took such care to make my mother-in-law comfortable, keep her dignity intact, and make sure no minor details were overlooked in her care.
Jessica exemplifies the nursing profession and Davin CARES model through her Compassion for her patients, being an Asset to this organization for 7 years, her Resilience and Reliability especially during the pandemic, Expertise in her work, and Supportive team player on the units. Another reason for nominating Jessica for this award is her dedication to higher education and completing her Master’s in Nursing this May all while working full time. Jessica worked at 5 different hospitals during her time at Davin Healthcare and every nurse manager she worked for gave the highest marks in their evaluations, exceeding expectations in the areas of Patient & Family Focus, Ethics, Accountability, Teamwork, and Adaptability. Last July, she received a Certificate of Achievement from Davin Healthcare for her “continued excellent work” and perfect evaluation at Nathan Littauer Hospital. Jessica is an excellent nurse that we are proud to have represent Davin Healthcare in our community. Even though I don’t know her on a personal level, I admire her strength and commitment to nursing.

Jessica is always a pleasure to work with. She has been an amazing asset to any facility that she has provided care for, as well as for Davin Healthcare. She is a great nurse who has set and accomplished many great goals for herself. We are lucky to have her here as part of the Davin family!

Jessica was not assigned to my mother-in-law the night we brought her by ambulance to the ER, however, the nurse that was, did not have the time to give her the care she needed and Jessica saw this and quickly stepped in to help. She only briefly would leave her side and it was only to get her items to provide comfort for the issues that were occurring. She took such care to make my mother-in-law comfortable, keep her dignity intact, and make sure no minor details were overlooked in her care. She went above and beyond to make sure her care was top-notch and communicated every step of the way in the most patient manner with nothing but care and compassion. She is the definition of a DAISY Nurse.
