Melissa is an excellent nurse who wears her title proudly. She continues to work hard on a daily basis to care for patients. She stays late to ensure that all needs are met. If she does not know the answer she will research the information to answer it for her patients. I am proud to have her as a part of a team at DCHC and look forward to continuing to work with her in the future.

I’m nominating the one nurse that I hold dear to my heart. Not only is she a great nurse; but she’s also a great mother getting ready to take her finals for EMT and she’s my beautiful daughter. She’s been a COVID nurse for the past two years working under very hard conditions and having to stay away from her family numerous times due to catching COVID. She never regretted going to her job and helping others during the pandemic. She was born to take care of people. She’s got the biggest heart I know and cares so much for others. I’ve received messages from people that have had her as a nurse and know that she is my daughter telling me how wonderful she is. So I again want to recognize my amazing daughter, Melissa.
