I came in not knowing why my baby wouldn't eat or why he was so lethargic. Stacey was incredible. She not only stayed 45 minutes after her shift on a weekend to assist me and provide any postpartum items I needed with her personal finances, but she also helped us prepare to go home with confidence the next day by teaching us how to properly feed our baby, burp him, provide us with multiple resources to learn more, teach me how to use my pump, and anything else we needed to ensure that when we got home we would have the confidence to give our baby what he needed. She went above and beyond to make us confident in our parenting and to help us understand what happened to our baby. Stacey assisted us with devising a constructive game plan to feed him after getting mixed messages from different doctors and nurses and lactation consultants with the approval of the doctor in charge here. She was kind and overall not just eased our anxiety but made us stronger parents for our baby. Her care for her job was extraordinary and she deserves more than what we can give back to her.
