Everyone on this team has rolled up their sleeves, pitched in, and delivered all required education without missing a beat.
Without a doubt, there are a lot of people within this organization who make a difference. However, the Education and Training team goes above and beyond to make sure our associates are current and up to date on regulatory requirements, initial, annual, and just in time education. Just over the last two years in particular the Education and Training team has needed to be creative in how they deliver initial, annual, and ongoing education. Everyone on this team has rolled up their sleeves, pitched in, and delivered all required education without missing a beat. Ex: CMS Immediate Response Education. The entire house needed to be educated on CMS findings. In a matter of days, Education and Training put together virtual education sessions and was able to educate 100% of the house in 4 days. Also, Education and Training successfully runs new associate orientation twice a month and onboards travelers weekly. There are countless examples of the excellent work they accomplish on a daily basis.

Education and Training is an excellent example of being a mission owner and a force for good. They answer the call to assist all departments in the hospital to meet regulatory needs, education, and professional growth. They go above and beyond for us. Through the pandemic their teamwork and passion to lead was evident. They were visible on the floors making sure the latest information on PPE was available to staff with the most up-to-date information available. They were present mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, you name it! They answered the call when we needed to double the amount of onboarding of new associates, SWAT nurses, travelers, RN Residents, our helpful government agencies, etc. Their motto of make it happen was exactly that! Together strong they are the glue that ties many departments and lends a hand to departments in need. They work tirelessly to collaborate to make standardized processes for the benefit of associates as well as celebrate our nurse leads, and professional growth through the wall of honor, to name a few. They are an amazing group of humans with many years of experience, and we are blessed to have such a great resource and support!
