Professor Jean Madden is one of the most exceptional nurses and nursing instructors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is currently my clinical instructor and she is so knowledgeable, caring, funny, empathetic, and supportive. Throughout the semester she has shared her knowledge of nursing skills, the nursing process, and how to think like a nurse. She treats every single one of her students with dignity and respect. She continues to show her excellence by providing education to us all while making it engaging and interesting. She is graceful, tactful, organized, honest, compassionate, and understanding. Every time I am with Professor Madden I learn something and improve my skills exceptionally. She deserves all the awards and praises for her teacher and just being an amazing person all around.

Professor Madden is truly a blessing to nursing students. She clearly loves her job and teaching the upcoming generation of nurses. Professor Madden demonstrates love and compassion for her students. She instills confidence in her students, demonstrates patience, helps with study techniques, and makes sure that we are ready for whatever comes our way. Professor Madden goes above and beyond to help her students. I personally was going through a rough time, and she extended a helping hand. She got me in touch with people who could help, she told me the options I have available. She offered herself, her time, her love, and caringness to help me. Professor Madden will always have a huge impact on my life and I cannot thank her enough for all that she has done for me in my first semester of nursing school. Without her, I don't think I would have made it this far.
