Conrad, I just want to say thank you for being such a blessing to my stepdad and to my mom. Never did we imagine that when my stepdad went back to the hospital, that he wouldn't be coming home. It was hard for us girls not to be at the hospital, living so far away. But every time you took care of him you were so attentive. You went above and beyond. Mom told me on Christmas Eve you came in and gave him a bath and washed/combed his hair. You told my mom you wanted him to look nice for her. You made my mom feel so at ease! She knew he was safe and taken good care of when you were on shift. Even when he wasn't your patient, you checked on him and my mom. You were very attentive! I thank God you are an OSF ICU nurse! I wish more people/nurses would see their calling as a compassionate mission and not just a job! God Bless you and your family!
