Rebekah assisted a patient who was a newly diagnosed diabetic type 1 and was being discharged on an insulin pump. Although she was not the assigned nurse, Rebekah was willing to assist that patient as she has personal experience with the insulin pump. Rebekah provided amazing education and support from a patient perspective answering all the patient's questions.
