Alexis stayed late after her shift to give our daughter her last bath and to make sure all of the keepsake memories were done for us.
My husband and I had twin girls in the NICU. Our daughter passed away at 12 days old. The support and care that Alexis gave to not only her but also to my family was by the far the greatest representation that I have ever seen in a nurse. One of the greatest moments was when Alexis called in other nurses and respiratory care, so that we could bring our daughters together one last time and get a picture of them both. That picture I am sure, as our daughter grows up, she will hold onto forever as the only picture she will ever have of her and her sister. Alexis stayed late after her shift to give our daughter her last bath and to make sure all of the keepsake memories were done for us. She called us later that night to let us know everything was done and to check on us. My family and I will forever be indebted to Alexis for what she did for our child and for us. She exudes the characteristics of what I hope my daughter will have when she grows up.
