Over past the 2 years, this leader came to West Penn as an interim but quickly found her permanent home. Her main focus has always been what is right and good for the staff and the patients we care for by promoting trust, compassion, mutual respect, and continued professional development. It was her genuine kindness and humble nature that led to the stabilization of West Penn as we weathered the many challenges of leadership changes and the COVID-19 pandemic. She embraced the West Penn culture and has often spoken about being a part of our family. It is with great pleasure that we welcome Angela Costa into our family as the CNO who is leading us toward our 4th Magnet Journey. She is a true DAISY Nurse Leader.
