Tanya embodies the care and compassion for which this award was created. Though she no longer provides direct patient care, she continues to demonstrate commitment to our veterans by advocating for systems improvements on a daily basis. She does so in a non-confrontational manner and with the focus of continuously improving the care environment in which our patients are served.
