Stephanie was constant encouragement for me to be confident in my skills and knowledge.
I would like to nominate Stepahine as she displays a positive and can-do attitude daily as she inspires our team members to do. I was blessed to have her as a preceptor. She made me feel at ease while learning new skills or brushing up on skills I hadn’t used. She coached me through my orientation with kindness and in a nurturing manner. I have since worked with her and admire her commitment to our core values.
She recently had a patient who was unable to make their own choices. She was a patient advocate working with the ethics committee. Stephanie is transitioning into a charge nurse role, which she will excel at. She excels in teamwork, professionalism, attention to detail, and goes above and beyond.
She recently took on the role of UBPC chair for our unit. She is a shining star on our unit and leads her coworkers by example to be the best they can be.

Stephanie is an extraordinary nurse in so many aspects, but the characteristics that stick out the most are her ability to lead by example, be a team player, a patient advocate, and someone who is building up the current and future generations of nurses. She was one of the first people I met when I started working as a nurse, and she was constant encouragement for me to be confident in my skills and knowledge. I continue to look up to her in so many ways, and I feel that she has continued to push me, and other nurses on our unit, to advocate for our patients. She goes above and beyond the call of a nurse to be a leader in providing compassionate care.
