If I was to describe Anabella in three words they would be, incredible, selfless, and determined. She was and still is everyone's favorite charge nurse. I really aspired to be like her. Not only can Anabella run a very chaotic unit as no one else can, she still finds time to ensure that the patients on our floor are beyond taken care of. Anabella does not give up. If she has a patient or team concern, she will get it addressed. Through all the difficult challenges nurses have faced, Anabella has remained the same nurse I looked up to almost 3 years ago. She always comes in with a positive attitude. She builds the team up and ensures that no one is ever left to drown. She helps carry the weight of a heavy team. When Anabella is working, you know you are never going to be alone. If you ask any employee on 3 North about Anabella, they will tell you that she is an absolute treasure to Beaumont. I am grateful to know Anabella and I believe she makes a better nurse every time I work with her.
