While at work I had a chronic asthma attack and was unable to breathe. They brought me here to Doctors Hospital to the ICU. When I first came in everyone was extraordinary, but one nurse stood out during the three days I was in ICU, my nurse Alain Falcon. The first couple of nights I cried each night because I was scared, I was not sure what was going on. I have no family, he was right there by my side, he told me not to cry and that everything would be okay and he’s been through the same thing. He even gave me hugs without hesitation and held my hand, he brought me warm tea also to calm me down. Nurse Alain asked me what can he bring to me when he came in the next day, magazines, etc. Anything that will make me more comfortable and happy. He definitely went above and beyond.
