Kathryn is that nurse we all strive to be. She takes wonderful care of her patients and they all adore her. Katie takes pride in her work and others around her notice. Our physicians, administrators, and co-workers all have tremendous respect for Katie. Katie is the "go-to person" when something needs to get done. She assists with so many tasks and works closely with physicians about issues. Katie is always calm, I have seen her in some life-threatening and intense situations and she is able to remain calm and keep the patient calm. Katie stays up to speed on education. I often find her doing required and extra education to make sure is taking the best care of her patients. Katie often takes extra call shifts and works OT almost every week to help her team.
