Several months ago, Brandon Buzard cared for a patient in the OR who had quickly become very ill and had to go through very emotional emergency surgery. The patient sent a card to Brandon thanking him for everything he had done for her and for her husband. This is what the patient said: 
We can't express how reassuring your presence was before going into surgery. Thank you for checking on my husband when he was very worried. Thank you for checking on me the morning after my surgery. You are a blessing.
