I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the talk Lucia and I shared on this day. She saved my life! My son had just overdosed and died. I shut down and ended up in the hospital and Lucia saved my life. She was walking past me and really did not have to stop because she was busy. But she heard the pain in my voice and she stopped. She shared a personal story that helped me. She made me realize it was not my fault that my son died. She reminded me that I still had two daughters who needed their dad. Her ability to listen and comfort me saved my life and gave me a reason to live!
