Kari Davis is a recent hire in the clinic, her specific job duty is to be a phone nurse. She takes all the nurse phone calls from patients. That's what Kari signed up for when she accepted her job here at ACHS. Unfortunately, when she started, we were in a predicament of being short-staffed. Without any hesitation she took on being an urgent care nurse, being a family practice provider nurse, and even traveling to our Stuart clinic to help them. Now that we are finally fully staffed and back to a tad bit of normalcy, she has transitioned back to her original job title and is crushing it. I sit up front with her, so I overhear a lot of her calls and she is a wonderful asset to ACHS. She has talked many patients off a ledge, helped get patients in for their regular chronic care appointments, and spent lengthy amounts of time on a single phone call reassuring patients that we are here to take the best possible care of them. She is a true DAISY here at ACHS.
