Susie is compassioned and caring every day while at work. She always has a smile on her face and goes above and beyond on a regular basis. Susie has devoted her extra time to buying, gathering supplies, and then organizing them in our stock room (all off the clock) for the homeless community and their pets. She makes sure they have clean and warm clothing, tents, sleeping bags, etc. While this often goes unnoticed because the supplies are available, I am appreciative to be able to give these supplies out at the time of need. We also had a co-worker whose house was destroyed due to a fire along with all their belongings; Susie started a Christmas present drive to help provide a meaningful holiday to their family too. I am nominating her for her selflessness, compassion, and caring for others. She has helped so many patients over the years and is a prime example of St. Charles's mission, vision, and values.
