My husband and I have gone through three deliveries. Our first was a set of premature twin girls born at 32 weeks. Not only was Heidi very warm and a wonderful nurse, she knew how hard it was for the mother, especially leaving her child in the NICU. Our second delivery was a full-term baby girl. Lastly, we completed our family with another baby girl. Heidi has been through each postpartum recovery of our four babies. I'm so thankful we had a nurse like Heidi. She was always helping each baby go above and beyond their recovery process. She also helped the parents feel at ease. Each experience was different in many ways, but one constant never changed, Heidi's love for her job and nursery babies/parents. We never noticed a frown or her getting overwhelmed ... God placed UPMC with an amazing nurse meant for newborns.
